Whoever coined the phrase “some things are worth waiting for” probably didn’t have in mind a $480 million verdict. But for aviation litigator Arthur Wolk, that’s exactly what it means.
The enormous verdict Wolk received in a Pensacola, Fla., trial court last August not only rewarded the veteran litigator for the $1 million in costs he invested but also the 12 years he spent trying to get the case in front of a jury. And just to add to Wolk’s reward, the verdict was listed at No. 6 in The National Law Journal’s list of the 50 largest verdicts in the country.
