Somebody up there liked the Philadelphia Bar Association on May 19. On a weekend that started out with thunderstorms and very warm, humid weather, the weather cleared Saturday night to provide ideal running and walking temperatures for the 23rd annual Philadelphia Bar Association Charity Run.
The Philadelphia Bar Charity Run attracted more than 500 registered runners and more than 600 total entrants for the run or the walk. The race is estimated at the time of this article to have raised $50,000 for the American Diabetes Association and the Support Center for Child Advocates.
