The National Federation of Paralegal Associations Inc. (NFPA), a nonprofit professional organization representing more than 15,000 paralegals throughout the United States, held its 2002 Spring Convention at the Indianapolis Marriott Hotel on May 2-5. The Indiana Paralegal Association hosted the convention. As the social event, the delegates were taken to Indy’s oldest restaurant, the Athenaeum Restaurant (The Rathskeller), and attended the American Cabaret Theatre.

Two delegates are chosen from each participating paralegal association across the nation, as far as Hawaii, Alaska, Texas, Illinois, Vermont, Florida, and all those states in between. They met as five regions and then gathered for two days of continuing education and a two-day policy session.
