Udge James J. Fitzgerald III is the first Republican to lead the trial division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in a generation. Fitzgerald, who was selected by the state Supreme Court on Feb.12 to serve as administrative judge of the trial division, sat down for an interview with Pennsylvania Law Weekly to discuss his new role in the court system.
