North Jersey-based McCarter & English has forged ahead with its Philadelphia expansion plans by adding Stevens & Lee bankruptcy partner Rosetta B. Packer.
Packer, who is known for her no-nonsense approach, joined McCarter & English as a partner on June 3. She will head the firm’s bankruptcy and creditors practice group in Philadelphia. While Packer declined to discuss why she left Stevens & Lee, she said she departed on amicable terms.
