New York in-house lawyer Patrick D. Sweeney has joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the business and finance department. Sweeney represents investment managers in regulatory, transaction and insolvency matters.
After spending the past two years as general counsel for Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management and the past 14 years in the in-house world, Sweeney is returning to law firm life and practicing in Philadelphia for the first time.
