The collapse of Student Finance Corp. has already been declared the result of a “spectacular fraud” by a federal appeals court and led to the indictment of its founder, Andrew N. Yao.
In its wake, SFC’s bankruptcy has also spawned litigation in three states — Pennsylvania, Delaware and Texas — including a potentially massive legal malpractice claim by SFC’s bankruptcy trustee against Pepper Hamilton.
