SAN FRANCISCO — Almost a year after making official plans to go public, Los Altos-based cloud storage company Box Inc. finally began trading on Friday. Represented by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the company sold 12.5 million shares at $14 apiece, raising $175 million in the process. Box priced its shares a dollar above its previously estimated range of $11 to $13 per share.

It is the first major initial public offering for Silicon Valley in 2015. On Friday, trading closed at $23.23 per share.

The Wilson Sonsini team included Palo Alto-based partners Steven Bochner, Jose Macias and Jon Avina, partner-elect Calise Cheng and associates Erin Guldiken, Bradley Libuit and Wesley Libuit. Bochner declined commenting on the deal.
