Gunderson and Davis Polk work on $287 million Etsy IPO
Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian guided Brooklyn-based online craft marketplace Etsy Inc. in raising roughly $287 million in its initial public offering. The company sold 16.7 million shares of common stock, raising $267 million in the process. The shares opened at $31 on March 16, almost double the original price.
Gunderson Dettmer used a team that included Redwood City-based partner Richard Blake and associate Meaghan Nelson, along with New York-based partners Kenneth McVay, Greg Volkmar and Lisa Gorrin and associates Hozefa Botee, Cynthia Douthwaite and Laura Barker.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
