Latham, Sheppard help ink Diodes purchase of Pericom for $400 million

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton advised Diodes Inc. in its agreement to purchase Pericom Semiconductor Corp. for $400 million in an all-cash deal. Diodes, based in Plano, Texas, manufactures and supplies various types of semiconductors. The purchase will expand the company's offerings in analog products.

The Sheppard Mullin team included Los Angeles-based partners Peter Menard and Leo Caseria, Century City-based partner Thomas Glen Leo and San Francisco-based partners Keith Gercken and Jason Schendel, who also works in Palo Alto. Associates Elizabeth Thompson and Andrew Kreider, in Del Mar and Palo Alto respectively, provided assistance.
