If you think Ninth Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt might have softened on Justice Antonin Scalia now that Scalia has passed from the earth, think again.

Reinhardt didn't spare the late Supreme Court justice and his originalist approach to the Constitution during a panel discussion with two colleagues from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Saturday. The discussion at the Pasadena Playhouse followed a performance of “The Originalist,” a play about Scalia's interactions with a fictitious law clerk.

“I think Justice Scalia did great harm to our judicial system” said Reinhardt, the Ninth Circuit's 86-year-old liberal lion.
