SACRAMENTO—An Inland Empire lawmaker has pulled legislation that would have created a new law school at UC Riverside.

The Assembly Higher Education Committee, where AB 951 was originally scheduled to be heard this week, now lists the legislation as a two-year bill that won't be considered until 2018.

A representative for Assemblywoman Sabrina Cervantes, D-Corona, who introduced the legislation, did not respond to a message left Tuesday.
