While six large law firms based in the Bay Area landed on The American Lawyer's annual Am Law 100 list last month, another 10 firms with California roots have secured spots on the Second Hundred rankings released this week.

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani led the pack, landing at No. 110 on the Am Law 200 list with $296.5 million in gross revenue last year. The other firms included in the tally of the nation's highest-grossing firms are Loeb & Loeb (117); Munger, Tolles & Olson (127); Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear (133); Irell & Manella (153); Sedgwick (157); Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis (161); Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell (185); Rutan & Tucker (194); and Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch (199).

Gordon Rees and Sedgwick, which were both founded in San Francisco, were the only Golden State firms based outside of Southern California found on the Am Law 200. San Diego-based Procopio, with $93.2 million in gross revenue for 2016, was the only new addition to the list.
