Crowell & Moring, which has been busy on the lateral recruitment front in 2017, snagged intellectual property litigators Kent Goss and Valerie Goo this week in Los Angeles from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Both lawyers come aboard as partners.

Goss, who had chaired Orrick’s litigation group in Los Angeles since 2011, has worked on copyright, trademark and trade secret matters for clients including electronics manufacturers, startups and entertainment companies, as well as professional athletes like mixed martial arts star Royce Gracie and All-Pro quarterback Tom Brady. He and Goo both handle commercial litigation in addition to IP work. The two lawyers had each been at Orrick for 11 years.
