Williams Adams, a member of the management committee at Michelman & Robinson, managing partner of the firm's San Francisco office and its local litigation head, is headed to Nossaman along with new partners David Lee and Ilse Scott.

Lee, who chaired Michelman & Robinson's intellectual property practice group, and Ilse Scott, who was a senior associate in that practice, will work out of Nossaman's Bay Area base. The trio moved together to Michelman & Robinson four years ago—Adams from Hanson Bridgett, and Lee and Scott from Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley, where Adams had worked previously.

Adams said that Caryn Rosenberg, vice president of recruiting at Diamond Legal Search, initially approached him about moving his practice to a new firm. His other two colleagues decided to join him a few weeks afterward. Nossaman was one of the first firms that Rosenberg suggested to Adams, who has previously worked at Sedgwick and Berliner Cohen.
