Friends and family of murdered Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton partner James Gilliland will offer a $100,000 reward for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of his killer.

At a press conference at El Cerrito City Hall on Wednesday, a representative of the group said in addition to the new reward, which doubles the value of the one El Cerrito police announced in November, Gilliland's friends have created a toll-free tip line, 866.TIP.4JIM, and an email address, [email protected].

Information about the reward and how to submit tips has been posted on a billboard in front of Oracle Arena in Oakland.
