The court of appeals affirmed a judgment of conviction. The court held that a victim of spousal assault was properly compelled to testify against her spouse.

Northern Cheyenne Tribe member Leon Seminole was charged with assaulting his common law wife. The government called her as a witness at trial, and the district court compelled her to testify. Seminole was found guilty of two counts of assault.
