The Second Appellate District affirmed a judgment. The court held that the defendant failed to establish that his no contest plea to Oregon felony charges was obtained in violation of his constitutional rights under Boykin-Tahl.

In 2001, Anthony Gandy pleaded no contest to two counts of burglary and one count of robbery in Oregon. Ten years later, Gandy was charged with multiple felonies in California. The three Oregon convictions were alleged as both strikes and prior serious felonies.
