Peter Ippolito has joined the San Diego office of Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell as of counsel. Ippolito has previously served as assistant general counsel to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a partner at Dentons.
Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek has added Arezoo Jamshidi in its San Diego office as an associate in the litigation and appellate department. Jamshidi's practice focuses on civil litigation and appellate matters. She was previously an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.
Investment funds lawyer David King has joined Kirkland & Ellis' San Francisco office as a partner. King previously worked at The Carlyle Group as a principal.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
