On the Move: Tracking the Ins and Outs of California Lawyers
New hires in the California legal market.

Robins Kaplan hired Michael Delaney as an associate in the firm's national restructuring practice. Delaney, who will be based in the Los Angeles office, is a corporate bankruptcy lawyer who focuses his practice on intellectual property rights disputes.
Demler, Armstrong & Rowland opened an office in Sacramento, with partner Steven Block at the lead. The firm also brought on Jennifer Rasmussen as a partner in the San Francisco office. Previously, Block was a civil prosecutor at the Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse of the California Department of Justice. Rasmussen recently served as managing partner of Pond North in San Francisco.
Eileen Hennessey joined LexInsight as head of customer success. Her role focuses on the company's client and contractor engagement strategy to ensure clients are satisfied with the hired contractors from their service. She will be based in San Jose.
Holland & Knight expanded its real estate practice on the West Coast with the addition of partner Loren Higgins. Based in the San Francisco office, Higgins focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance, agricultural lending, and health care finance. She was previously a partner at Winston & Strawn.
JAMS brought on Lexi Myer as a mediator, arbitrator and special master to its panel. Her experience focuses on complex, multidistrict products liability matters, class actions, and ADR. Myers will be based in the Los Angeles resolution center.
Dominique Shelton joined the privacy and data security practice at Perkins Coie as a partner. Shelton will be based in the Los Angeles office, and will co-chair a new group that focuses on ad tech and privacy. Previously, Shelton was a partner at Alston & Bird.
Greenberg Traurig brought on former director and chief counsel of the CAL/EPA Department of Toxic Substances Control Tim Swickard as a shareholder in its Sacramento office. Swickard joined the firm's environmental and toxic tort litigation practice. Most recently, he held the position of vice chair at Lewis Brisbois' environmental and toxic tort practice group.
Neal Wolf joined Hanson Bridgett as a partner in the San Francisco office. Wolf focuses his practice on business litigation, commercial transactions, corporate finance, real estate, debt restructuring, and bankruptcy. Previously, Wolf was a partner at Freeborn & Peters.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

Yalowitz of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer have entered their appearances for Hanaco Venture Capital and its executives, Lior Prosor and David Frankel, in a pending securities lawsuit. The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.

Wilfred P. Coronato and Daniel M. Schwartz of McCarter & English have stepped in as defense counsel to Electrolux Home Products Inc. in a pending product liability lawsuit.
