Jon Daryanani has been named managing partner of Perkins Coie's Los Angeles office. He's a partner in the labor and employment practice, and succeeds Audra Mori.

David Hong joined Munger, Tolles & Olson as of counsel in the Los Angeles office. Hong is part of the corporate group, and focuses on advising private equity and hedge fund sponsors. Previously, Hong practiced at Akin Gump and Schulte Roth & Zabel.

Shannon Bettis Nakabayashi and Yana S. Johnson recently joined the San Francisco office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Previously at Morrison & Foerster, Johnson focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. Nakabayashi joins from Morgan Lewis & Bockius.

Stanford Law School appointed Dr. Jennifer King as the Director of Consumer Privacy at the Center for Internet and Society. She will lead the center's research efforts in consumer privacy. Previously, King was co-director of the Center of Technology, Society and Policy.

Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP brought on Jeffrey Myers as partner in the firm's global hospitality and real estate development groups. Myers focuses his practice on development and operation of hospitality properties. He will be based in the Los Angeles office.

Phillip Neiman joined JAMS as mediator, arbitrator and special master in the firm's San Francisco office. Previously, Neiman was CEO and general counsel of a FINRA-registered broker dealer.

Christopher S. Spicer has been named head of entertainment and media practice in the Los Angeles office of Akin Gump. Spicer focuses on media and entertainment finance.

Judge Donald Sullivan joined Judicate West as neutral in the firm's San Francisco office. Previously, Judge Sullivan served more than 13 years on the Superior Court bench.
