Silicon Valley Digital Wealth Management Firm Names Allison Amadia New GC

Allison Amadia will join Personal Capital Corp. as its general counsel this week.
She joins the digital wealth management firm after serving as GC, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary at cloud-based fintech Handle Financial Inc.
“I'm thrilled to join Personal Capital at such an important growth period for the company,” Amadia said in a press release announcing her hire. “My experience helping technology companies grow and stay ahead of the increasingly complex legal and compliance matters as they scale will allow me to add value right from the start. Jay and his team have built something truly special, and I look forward to supporting Personal Capital's continued commitment to transparency within the financial services industry.”
At San Carlos-based Personal Capital, Amadia will oversee legal operations, corporate strategy, regulatory compliance, IP and financing, the company said.
She has also held in-house roles at Extreme Networks, Voxeo, Verifone and Novell.

Personal Capital did not respond to a request for additional comment on Amadia's hire.
