Cisco Systems Inc. is facing an August trial over a competitor’s antitrust claims, and Cisco general counsel Mark Chandler and his blog posts will likely be at the center of it.

U.S. District Judge Beth Labson Freeman of the Northern District of California turned away Cisco’s motion for summary judgment earlier this month, handing a preliminary win to Arista Networks Inc. and a Tensegrity Law Group team led by partner Matthew Powers.
