Four attorneys joined Buchalter's office in Los Angeles: shareholder Daniel Rygorsky, senior counsel M. Reed Mercado, special counsel Richard Steelman Jr., and attorney Roma Patel. Steelman and Rygorsky will be part of the litigation practice group, while Mercado and Patel will be part of the banking and finance and healthcare practice groups, respectively.
Sidley Austin brought on Tom Duley as a partner in the global life sciences practice. Duley has experience advising clients in the life sciences sector on strategic partnering and commercial transactions. Previously, he was senior in-house corporate counsel at PDL BioPharma. He will be based in the San Francisco office.
Kelly Knight joined Judicate West as a neutral in the Los Angeles office. Knight's experience includes litigating cases involving employment law, and handling matters for the Los Angeles Superior Court's Personal Injury CRASH Settlement program. Knight serves on the mediation panel for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Blank Rome hired Christine Lee as an associate in the consumer finance litigation group, where she will focus on consumer finance litigation matters and common law claims. Previously, she was an attorney at Yu Mohandesi. She will be based in the Los Angeles office.
Daniel Warren joined Seltzer Caplan McMahan Vitek as an associate in the family law department. His experience also includes civil litigation, anti-SLAPP contract, bankruptcy and criminal law. Previously, he was a family law litigator at Goldberg Jones.
Duane Morris brought on Boris Zelkind as a partner in the San Diego office. Part of the intellectual property practice group, Zelkind specializes in patent infringement, trade secrets, trademark, copyright and unfair competition cases. Previously, he was a partner at Knobbe Martens.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
