Finch, Thornton & Baird brought on H. Daniel Haro and Daniel Spencer to its San Diego office. Haro focuses on business disputes and litigation, employment law and insurance defense. Spencer's experience includes construction law for public and private works and business and commercial litigation.

Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger brought on Warren Kessler and Michael Wiener as partners in the taxation practice. They are both based in Los Angeles. Previously, both attorneys were part of DLA Piper's Century City office.

Michael McConnell joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as senior of counsel in the appellate practice. McConnell has been the Richard and Frances Mallery Professor and director of the Constitutional Law Center at Stanford Law School since 2009. He is based in Palo Alto.

JAMS brought on Judge Franz Miller as arbitrator, mediator and special master. Previously, he served on the Orange County Superior Court for 16 years. Miller will be based in the Orange County office.

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips brought on Scott Pearson as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Pearson has more than 25 years of experience in the consumer financial services industry. Previously, he was a partner at Ballard Spahr.

Pryor Cashman brought on James Sammataro as a partner and co-head of the media and entertainment group. Also joining the firm's media and entertainment group is partner Hans Hertell. Hertell is based in Miami and Sammataro will split his time between the Los Angeles and Miami offices. Both attorneys hailed from the Miami office at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Tracy Rane joined Kasowitz Benson Torres as special counsel in Los Angeles. Rane has more than two decades of experience representing clients in complex litigation matters. Previously, she was a partner at McPherson Rane.
