Fisher & Phillips hired Hassan Aburish in the San Francisco office. Aburish's experience includes representing employers in class action, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination matters. He previously was at Freeman, Mathis & Gary.
Morrison & Foerster promoted Zeeshan Ahmedani to a partner in the private funds group. His practice focuses on private investment funds. He is based in Los Angeles.
Baker & Hostetler brought on Michael Chamberlin as a partner in the labor and employment group. He represents employers in individual and class action litigation, and advises clients on employee and union relations matters. He is based in Los Angeles and previously was a partner at Winston & Strawn.
Littler Mendelson brought on Mark Romeo as a shareholder in Irvine, Liseanne Kelly as a shareholder in San Diego, and Melissa Peters as special counsel in Walnut Creek. Romeo counsels clients on workplace investigations, executive employment agreements and other labor issues. Previously, he was a partner at Crowell & Moring. Kelly returned to Littler after serving as director of employment law compliance for Alliance Data. Peters was previously staff counsel in the legal unit of the California Department of Industrial Relations' Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
Drinker Biddle & Reath brought on Diane Mason as a partner in the intellectual property group. She is based in San Francisco. Previously, she was a shareholder at LeClairRyan.
Newmeyer & Dillion appointed Paul Tetzloff as its new managing partner. Tetzloff is based in Newport Beach. He succeeds Jeff Dennis, who will focus on overseeing the firm's privacy and data security practice.
Reed Smith appointed Paul Pitts as the office managing partner of the firm's San Francisco office. Pitts is a partner in the life sciences health industry group, and succeeds David Thompson. Thompson will head to Texas to lead the firm's new Dallas office.
Blank Rome hired Justin Stein as an associate in the corporate, mergers and acquisitions and securities group. Previously, he was at Michelman & Robinson. He is based in Los Angeles.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
