Alicia Cronbach founded Cronbach Law Group in May in Napa. The firm specializes in representing wineries, law firms and brokers in the complexity of ownership transactions. Cronbach previously was deputy general counsel at Duckhorn Wine Co.

Loeb & Loeb brought on Marc Jones as a partner in the corporate practice. Jones represents private equity firms, strategic buyers, sellers, targets and issuers. He is based in Los Angeles, and previously was a partner at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp.

David Shapiro has joined The Norton Law Firm as a partner. Shapiro was a founding partner of Boersch Shapiro. Also joining the firm as a senior associate is Tyler Layton. Layton was previously a senior associate at Vinson & Elkins. Both attorneys will be based in Oakland.

Mehdi Khodadad joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the private equity practice. Previously, Khodadad was a partner at Cooley. He will be based in Century City.

Miller Starr Regalia hired Amer Lakhani as an associate in the transactional department. Previously, Lakhani worked at Sunrun Inc. in San Francisco. He will be based in Walnut Creek.

Troutman Sanders named Wynter Deagle as the managing partner of the San Diego office. She succeeds Michael Whitton, who held the position for 15 years. Deagle is a partner in the firm's business litigation practice.
