Oswald B. Cousins, formerly an attorney with The Miller Law Group, moved to Morrison & Foerster‘s Palo Alto office. He now serves as of counsel in the firm’s employment and labor group. He focuses his practice on high-stakes litigation and counseling in matters including discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, wage and hour, whistleblower and retaliation, commission agreements, executive contracts, employee mobility and trade secrets.
Blank Rome added associate Scott T. Reigle to its consumer financial services group. Reigle previously worked at Anglin Flewelling Rasmussen Campbell & Trytten. He litigates consumer finance matters and advises clients on regulatory compliance, general business strategy and formulation and implementation of policies and procedures. Reigle is based in Los Angeles.
Wendel Rosen announced that Robert W. Selna, an attorney in the firm’s Oakland office, was promoted to partner. Selna practices in Wendel Rosen’s cannabis industry group, where he focuses on local and state regulations, real estate transactions, tax issues and litigation.
In Los Angeles, private dispute resolution services provider Judicate West added former Girardi Keese lawyer Amy Fisch Solomon as a neutral. Solomon has experience as a trial attorney representing clients in professional negligence, products liability and personal injury cases.
Fisher & Phillips brought on Christopher Jevsevar as an associate in its San Diego office. He joins the firm from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and represents employers in wage-and-hour class and Private Attorneys General Act actions.
The San Francisco office of Wilson Elser added Peter Catalanotti to its ranks. He joins as partner after leaving Freeman Mathis & Gary. He represents clients such as real estate brokers, lawyers, appraisers, accountants, engineers, architects and insurance brokers in professional liability insurance defense matters and employment law matters.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
