Former BridgeForth Capital general counsel and managing partner Steven T. Anapoell is now of counsel at Carlton Fields. Anapoell handles matters related to private equity, fund formation, private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and real estate syndications. He works in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Mojave-based space tourism company Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. hired Michelle Kley to take on the roles of general counsel, secretary and executive vice president of legal. Before joining Virgin Galactic, Kley was senior vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel and secretary at Maxar Technologies Inc., a space technology company based in Westminster, Colorado.
Fisher & Phillips added three associates to its Los Angeles office. Chris Chaplin joins from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, Jeff Elkrief joins from Thompson Coe, Cousins & Irons, and Cristina Medina joins from Collins Collins Muir + Stewart. Chaplin handles employment-related and general liability matters; Elkrief focuses on employment law issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and wage-and-hour violations; and Medina focuses on employment-related litigation.
Construction industry law firm Finch, Thornton & Baird brought on associate Y. Brandon Beshay to its San Diego office. Beshay focuses his practice on general business and commercial transactions, business formation and governance, and real estate. He joins the firm after graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Less than a year after taking a job as general counsel at Pangea Money Transfer, Alex Levine is now with fintech startup TokenSoft Inc. Levine specializes in cyptocurrency compliance and worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a time. In his new role, he will focus on federal regulatory issues. Levine is based in Chicago.
Nic Marais and Ben Rothstein, attorneys with San Francisco-based Keker, Van Nest & Peters, were promoted to partner, effective Jan. 1. Marais represents clients in white-collar criminal defense and high-stakes civil disputes, and Rothstein focuses his practice on trade secret cases and other complex civil and criminal matters.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
