Former Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro attorney David Tabibian moved to Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell, where he will serve as partner. He will work in the firm's real estate department and global hospitality group handling acquisitions and dispositions, 1031 exchanges, construction, leasing, debt and equity financing, and joint ventures. He is based in Los Angeles.

David Diepenbrock joined Weintraub Tobin Chediak Coleman Grodin's Sacramento office as a shareholder following a nine-year run with Diepenbrock Elkin Dauer McCandless. Diepenbrock will assist clients with business and real estate disputes from the firm's litigation and real estate groups. His clients operate in industries such as agribusiness, energy, finance, health care, manufacturing and mining.

Two California attorneys were among Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck's recent batch of promotions: Los Angeles-based Brian Peters and San Francisco-based Aaron Cargain. Peters was promoted from counsel to partner. He focuses his practice on employment-related issues, primarily representing management. Cargain was promoted from associate to of counsel. He handles a range of issues, including insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability and real estate matters.

Private equity lawyers Abtin Jalali and Christopher Harding left Kirkland & Ellis for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Both attorneys work in the firm's private equity and mergers and acquisitions practice groups. They are based in the firm's San Francisco office.

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe brought on Shannon Yavorsky, who focuses her practice on U.S. and European data privacy and security, as a partner in San Francisco. Before the move, she worked at Venable. In addition to her California practice, she is licensed to practice in England and Wales and Ireland.

The Los Angeles office of Cozen O'Connor grew with the addition of a three-lawyer team from boutique firm Lombardi & Donohue. Thomas E. Lombardi, Devin A. Donohue and Brett D. Watson all became members of Cozen O'Connor's commercial litigation practice. They will litigate disputes related to securities, financial services, real estate, employment and intellectual property.

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp's chief financial and marketing officer Doug Gold was appointed to the board of trustees of Woodbury University. In this position, he will oversee the university's policy, academics and appointments. At Mitchell Silberberg, Gold handles financial and marketing endeavors within the firm.

Eduardo Alfonso Angeles, the former general counsel and senior assistant city attorney at the Los Angeles World Airports, joined Clark Hill. He will serve as managing director and senior counsel in the firm's government and regulatory affairs practice, where he will use his experience with airport regulation, financing, planning and development matters. His experience also includes holding various positions in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco Office of the City Attorney.

Tyson & Mendes promoted Michelle Campbell, Codie Dukes, Reece Román and Morgan Van Buren to partnership within the firm. All four attorneys are members of Tyson & Mendes' complex trial team. Dukes, Román and Van Buren are based in San Diego, and Campbell works in the firm's Orange County and Los Angeles offices.
