Former Davis Polk & Wardwell partner Rachel Kleinberg took on a new job as partner in Sidley Austin's tax group. Kleinberg represents corporate, private equity and financial institutions in transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spinoffs and reorganizations, cross-border restructurings, capital markets transactions, credit facilities, international tax matters and derivatives transactions. She will be based in the firm's Palo Alto office.
Holland & Knight brought on business attorney Jay Bettinger as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Bettinger handles domestic and international business transactions, commercial agreements, formations and entity selection, joint ventures, private equity and debt security offerings, M&A, corporate finance, corporate governance, executive employment and compensation agreements, and regulatory compliance. He joins the firm from Brown & Streza.
The corporate practice group of Duane Morris grew with the addition of partner Gregory Chin. Chin joins the firm's San Francisco office, where he will focus his practice on complex transactional, general corporate and securities disclosure matters, particularly representing clients in emerging growth industries. Prior to the move, Chin was a partner at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo.
Parisa Weiss joined Buchalter's tax, benefits and estate planning practice as special counsel in San Diego. She previously worked at Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek. Weiss primarily handles estate planning, trust, and probate administration and litigation.
Former DLA Piper partners Michael Hamilton and Timothy Evans are now partners in O'Melveny & Myers' project development and real estate practice. At DLA Piper, Hamilton co-led the California real estate practice. Both attorneys worked at O'Melveny earlier in their careers as associates. They are based in Los Angeles.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
