Intellectual property transactional lawyer Marcela Robledo joined Baker McKenzie's San Francisco office as a partner. She will work in the firm's IP and technology practice, where she will handle mergers and acquisition transactions, financings, debt arrangements, licensing and joint ventures. She previously was with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

Baker & Hostetler brought on Los Angeles-based David Aronoff as a partner in its litigation practice group. He joins from Winston & Strawn, where he served as the Los Angeles chairman of litigation and a member of the compensation and finances committee. Aronoff litigates cases involving financial services litigation under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, securities work, business disputes and products liability.

Former Perkins Coie litigation and antitrust partner Charles Samel moved to Stoel Rives. Samel focuses his practice on complex business claims such as antitrust class actions and antitrust litigation alleging monopolization, price discrimination, exclusive dealing, minimum advertised pricing policies, and price-fixing. He will work in Stoel Rives' Southern California and Los Angeles offices.

Jeffrey Webb left Ropes & Gray, where he led the firm's labor and employment practice, for Paul Hastings. Webb joins the firm as a partner in its employment law department in Los Angeles. He handles class, collective and representative actions involving claims related to discrimination, the WARN Act and ERISA.
