Florida-based Morgan & Morgan has broken into the Northern California market by hiring Robins Kaplan attorneys Michael Ram and Marie Appel. Ram and Appel will lead the 575-attorney firm's new San Francisco office, joining a growing list of firms that are betting big on California and tech company work.
While the firm already has a Los Angeles office, managing partner John Morgan said a growing number of class action suits filed against the tech companies that inhabit the Bay Area drew the firm to the region.
