It took four opinions from a single panel, but the U.S. Court of Appeals has rejected an adult entertainment company’s effort to stop a Polish website from displaying allegedly copyrighted videos.

A 2-1 majority led by Judge Ryan Nelson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that federal courts lack personal jurisdiction over the Polish citizen who allegedly operates ePorner.com. Nevada adult entertainment company AMA Multimedia accuses Marcin Wanat of reproducing AMA content such as “Passion-HD” and “Massage Creep.”
