Fisher Phillips brought on five new associates in California in the past month. Ben Carney and Phillip Simpler join the firm’s San Diego office, Raymond Duer and Kevin Quan join in San Francisco, and Joel Moon joins in Los Angeles. The new hires all have backgrounds in labor and employment law.

Civil litigator Ivan L. Tjoe left Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley for Rimon, where he will serve as partner. He represents a range of clients, including manufacturers, technology companies, logistics companies, financial institutions, trade associations, screen actors and professional athletes in international and complex commercial litigation. He will work in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
