Covington & Burling announced that it promoted 14 of its attorneys to partner, including three in California. Kate Cahoy and Rani Gupta are based in the firm's Palo Alto office, and Addison Thompson is based in San Francisco. All three attorneys are part of Covington's litigation and investigations practice, with Cahoy also working in the regulatory and public policy practice.
Yevgenia Altman and Susannah Eichele joined Atheria Law as senior associates. Altman will work in the firm's San Francisco office handling litigation related to complex insurance coverage claims. Eichele will work in the firm's Los Angeles office, where she will represent insurers in cyber- and privacy-related claims. Altman was previously with Clyde & Co, and Eichele was with Smith Smith & Feeley.
