An owner of internet search patents is trying to use the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s recent RPX decision on real parties in interest to throw a wrench into Unified Patents’ business model.

MasterObjects Inc. and its attorneys at Heim, Payne & Chorush argue that member-supported Unified is actually doing the bidding of Facebook Inc. and possibly Amazon.com Inc. with its administrative challenge to U.S. Patent No. 10,311,073.
