Alternative dispute resolution provider JAMS added Laura C. Abrahamson to its panel in Los Angeles. Abrahamson was most recently senior vice president, deputy general counsel and global head of litigation at AECOM, a engineering, design, consulting and construction services firms. In her new role, Abrahamson will mediate and arbitrate matters relating to business and commercial, accounting and finance, employment, energy and utilities, engineering and construction, entertainment and sports, insurance, construction, environmental, personal injury and torts, and securities.
Los Angeles-based Ann Calfas joined Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp's labor and employment practice as a partner. Calfas previously served as the executive vice president of labor relations and employment litigation for Fox Entertainment Group. She primarily represents clients in the media and entertainment industry.
