Two women will lead lawsuits filed against StubHub after allegedly failing to refund event tickets due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Wednesday order, a federal judge appointed Tina Wolfson, of Ahdoot & Wolfson in Los Angeles, and Tiasha Palikovic, of Wittels McInturff Palikovic in Armonk, New York, as interim class counsel for about half a dozen class actions, coordinated in multidistrict litigation in the Northern District of California. Wolfson and Palikovic beat out two other applications for lead counsel, both from male attorneys.
