A shareholder sued Intel Corp. over its claims that the company’s latest computer chip would be ready a year before it could possibly be finished.

In a derivative complaint filed Tuesday in the District of Delaware, Edith Liss, represented by P. Bradford DeLeeuw of DeLeeuw Law, asked for a jury to weigh the consequences to shareholders from the failure of executives and board members to disclose information about the status of the chip’s development.
