Holland & Knight's Raymond Kim was promoted from of counsel to partner. Kim handles consumer class action defense in the firm's litigation section. He is based in Los Angeles. The firm also promoted Sarah Marsey and Daniel Golub to partnership in the firm. Marsey, formerly senior counsel, is a member of the firm's litigation section, and Golub, formerly an associate, is a member of the West Coast land use and environment group. Both work in Holland & Knight's San Francisco office.
The partnership of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo elected James Baca to serve as the firm's new managing partner, a position he is set to assume at the start of 2022. Baca's previous leadership roles with the firm include chair of the Southern California education law practice group, member of the executive committee and chief operating officer. He works in the firm's Cerritos office.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
