With Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday, many California lawyers are heading east for new opportunities in a Democratic administration.

“California as a whole is going to bring a focus on the big three issues: health care, immigration and the environment,” Raphael Sonenshein, executive director of the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs, said last week during a webinar hosted by Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
