Three of Duane Morris' eight recent partnership promotions are based in the firm's California offices. San Diego-based Joseph J. Machi works in the firm's corporate practice group, and San Francisco-based Maxine D. Bayley and San Diego-based Meagan E. Garland work in the employment, labor, benefits and immigration practice group.
Michelle Park Chiu, a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, was elected to serve as president of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area. At Morgan Lewis, Chiu litigates complex commercial cases. She is the firm's deputy litigation practice leader in San Francisco as well as the San Francisco office hiring partner.
