Rookie test-takers from five law schools—all located outside of California—posted 100% pass rates on California’s October 2020 bar exam, according to data released by the state bar on Friday.

Graduates of Duke, Notre Dame, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt and Yale law schools who were taking the test for the first time all aced the exam, which was the first one administered online and to be graded with the new, lower 1390 passing score. The results marked the third year in a row that all Duke University first-timers passed.
