Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan is the latest firm to offer special bonuses ranging from $12,000 to $64,000, and is one of several firms to tie the money to billable hours, even offering a bit extra for those who bill the most.

Associates based in the United States will receive their bonuses in two equal installments, ranging from $6,000 to $32,000 for each round. The first payment will be made in June, and the second will “likely” be paid in November, according to a memo obtained by The American Lawyer.
