Cheryl Cauley succeeded Brian Lee as partner in charge of Baker Botts‘ Palo Alto office. Cauley previously held the role of chair of the firm’s litigation department tech litigation practice group and handles complex commercial litigation and intellectual property cases. She has experience representing clients in industries such as internet search, sales and advertising, wireless medical chipset solutions and autonomous vehicles.

Miller Starr Regalia added associate Mitchell Khurin to its transactional department in Walnut Creek. He will handle commercial real estate transactions such as leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to the move, Khurin was an associate at ValenceLaw in San Francisco.
