California’s 14 Am Law 100 firms saw healthy gains in revenue and profits per equity partner (PEP) growth of 16%, outpacing the Am Law 100 average, as the pandemic drove tech and life science work to new highs and law firms across the country enter into the state to get a piece of the action.

The list includes seven Northern California firms and seven Southern California firms, although some firms have grown to the point where their largest offices are no longer in the state.
