Cooley has strengthened its technology transactions practice by adding Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati partner Tracy Rubin as a partner in Palo Alto as a number of firms around the country hire lawyers working in various aspects of the technology sector.

While hiring Rubin in Palo Alto, Cooley recently lost partner Carlton Fleming, who joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the corporate and capital markets practices in San Francisco. Fleming represents life sciences and technology companies.
