Foster Farms filed a complaint against Everest National Insurance Tuesday in California Northern District Court seeking antitrust liability coverage. The lawsuit, brought by Lowenstein Sandler, contends that Everest is obliged to provide coverage for three class actions against Foster Farms alleging antitrust violations in the turkey market. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-04356, Foster Farms, LLC et al v. Everest National Insurance Company.
