Julie Park didn’t always want to be a lawyer. When she went to college at Harvard University, she fell in love with organic chemistry and, after getting her master’s degree at the California Institute of Technology, she worked for two years at Pfizer, researching compounds to treat cancer.

But her career as a chemist lacked something: interactions with people. That’s what drew Park to law, graduating in 2008 from Harvard Law School. She is now a partner in Morrison & Foerster’s San Diego office, representing product manufacturers in litigation and regulatory actions.
